By 16, I was on my own, navigating the world and its challenges. Life through its curveballs—sexual abuse as a child, abusive relationships as an adult, financial struggles, and the demanding juggle of being a single mom with two kids working multiple jobs to make ends meet.

There came a pivotal moment when I had a choice to stay stuck or strive for more. With just $19.80 in my bank account, I chose to rewrite my story. I broke free from harmful patterns, became an advocate against child abuse (both physical and sexual), domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse. I thrived for more, I climbed the corporate ladder. Each step of the way, I was driven by a deep-seated desire to provide the support and guidance I wished I'd had during my own struggles.
